Privacy Policy

PT Hub

This Privacy Policy describes how PT Hub ("we", "us", or "the App") handles information when you use our Android application. PT Hub is a client-management tool for personal trainers. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our practices.

In short: PT Hub is an offline app. Everything you enter — your clients, sessions, workouts and measurements — is stored only on your device. We have no servers, no accounts, and no access to your data. The only data that leaves your device is what Google collects to serve ads and process purchases.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Data You Provide

The App allows you to record and manage your personal-training business, including:

All of this data is stored locally on your device using an on-device database (Room/SQLite). We do not transmit, collect, or have access to it on any server.

1.2 Data About Your Clients

Because PT Hub is a professional tool, the records you create may contain personal information about other people — your training clients. That information is entered by you and stays on your device; it is never sent to us or to anyone else by the App.

You are responsible for the client information you record. Where data-protection laws such as the GDPR apply, you act as the controller of your clients' data and we act as neither controller nor processor, since we never receive it. You should ensure you have an appropriate legal basis (for example, your clients' consent) for recording their details, keep your device secured, and honour any request from a client to see or delete their record — the App lets you edit or delete any client and all of their associated data at any time.

1.3 App Preferences

The App stores your preferences locally on your device, including:

These preferences are stored using Android DataStore and never leave your device.

1.4 Information Collected by Third-Party Services

The App integrates third-party services that may independently collect certain information. See Section 3 for details.

2. How We Use Information

Your locally stored data is used solely to:

We do not use your data for analytics, advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than providing the App's core functionality to you.

3. Third-Party Services

3.1 Google AdMob

The free version of the App displays banner advertisements provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and process certain data in accordance with Google's privacy practices, including:

This data is collected and processed by Google, not by us. Your client, session and measurement data is never shared with AdMob. You can learn more in the Google Privacy Policy and manage your ad preferences in your device's Settings > Google > Ads.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the App asks for your consent before any personalized advertising is served, using Google's User Messaging Platform. No ads are requested until you have answered. If you decline, you will still see ads, but they will not be personalized and the advertising identifier will not be used to profile you. You can change your answer at any time from Settings > Privacy options inside the App. Outside these regions no consent prompt is shown, and the ad preferences in your device settings continue to apply.

3.2 Google Play Billing

The App offers an optional one-time in-app purchase that removes advertisements. Purchases are processed entirely by Google Play. We never see or store your payment details — the App only receives confirmation from Google Play that a purchase was made, which is stored locally on your device. Google's handling of purchase data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

4. Data Storage and Security

5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

The App itself does not use cookies or tracking technologies. However, Google AdMob may use advertising identifiers and similar technologies to serve and measure ads. These are managed by Google and subject to Google's policies. In the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, whether these identifiers are used for personalization depends on the consent choice described in Section 3.1.

The App does not use any analytics or crash-reporting SDKs (such as Firebase Analytics, Google Analytics or Crashlytics) and does not track your usage behaviour.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, rent, or share your personal data, your client data, or any other App data with any third party. The only data that leaves your device is:

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The App is a professional tool intended for use by personal trainers and fitness professionals.

If you record data about a minor client, you are responsible for obtaining consent from their parent or legal guardian in accordance with applicable law.

8. Your Rights and Choices

9. Permissions

The App requests the following Android permissions:

The App's libraries also declare supporting permissions that you are never asked to grant: billing (Google Play purchases), network state, wake lock, and the advertising identifier used by AdMob as described in Section 3.1.

All reminders are generated and delivered locally on your device. No reminder content is sent over the internet.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
